Oops! Dad forgot to protect the ground floor from day light before going to sleep –
From the blackness behind his eyelids he can hear the window shutters being slammed shut –
PAGE EIGHT
Dad brings in a cup of tea for Daughter but she has fallen asleep watching Nosferatu –
He opens a window shutter just enough to let in a shard of daylight which he attempts to direct toward her –
She wakes up startled –
DAUGHTER
‘What are you doing!?’
She scrambles behind an armchair for protection –
DAD
‘I’m sorry.’
DAUGHTER
‘Why did you do that?’
DAD
‘I just wanted to see if the same thing happened when you’re asleep.’
DAUGHTER
‘You don’t believe me!’
DAD
‘I do!’
A guitar in the corner minding it’s own business is thrown by her just missing him –
